Menopause Wellbeing Days:

Women make up almost half of the UK workforce according to statistics. More than 70% of women aged between 16-64 are employed compared to just over 50% in 1971. Today more women than ever before are climbing the ladder to success and taking on more demanding, higher level roles successfully.

The effects of menopause however, can lead to staff absences with an estimated 2 million women aged 50 and over experiencing difficulties at work due to menopausal symptoms

So if as a society we can understand the implications of Menopause employers will be better placed, better educated and more able to support their female employees.

I offer 2 Workshop Packages :
  • Understanding Menopause : This is a shorter workshop designed to educate employers on the changes women go through, the symptoms and effects this has physically and mentally on women
  • Menopause Wellbeing Days: This workshop is specific to women approaching or in a stage of Menopause (peri/meno/post). It aims to provide women with the knowledge, understanding and tools to better manage symptoms and transition through Menopause positively and with as little disruption to their home and worklife as possible
Typically Workshops would cover the following areas:

  • Biological symptoms and causes
  • Time for group discussion / interaction on experiences and own symptoms
  • Why women in menopause need support and how yoga can help
  • Stress & Lifestyle

  • Meditation, Mindfulness & Breathing techniques
  • Relaxation / Restorative Yoga
  • Yoga Sequences tailored to manage most common symptoms of Stress, Anxiety, Hot flushes, Insomnia & Fatigue, Rage & Irritability, Brain Fog & Focus, Weight Gain

Stress & Anxiety in the Workplace: 

These workshops are open to all employees and are designed to help recognise, alleviate and manage symptoms of stress, depression & anxiety.  Stress in the workplace effects productivity, performance, good working relationships, time-off & absenteeism, low morale & poor motivation.

Half or Full day Workshops would typically include:
